Meet Mortimer. He’s a peregrine falcon. He drove me crazy for a couple of mornings because I could hear but not see him, and I couldn’t figure out what kind of bird he was. A couple days and a little help from my high school biology teacher and youtube later, and I discovered his identity. He sat up there and called and ate his rat, whose feet and tail you can see here. I’m pretty stoked, and I really hope he stays around. Urban wildlife is fucking awesome.
Also: he’s named after the Falconer, from SNL.

Oh look what I’ve found!
For all of you guys who haven’t experienced the wonderful Polaroid camera that instantly gives you your photos after every shot, here’s our chance! This modern program works just like the old camera, you just have to drag and drop your selected photo/s to the Polaroid camera icon and it will create a new icon, your photograph. This gives you the same enjoyment of the instant photos developing right into you hands. And you can even watch it as it turns into a fully detailed photo!!! That’s the coolest thing! Yay!
I love this piece of software! No more hassle looking for Polaroid frames and cropping of photos to fit nice squarely :D You all should give this a try here
